Бүрэн шинжилгээний ажил 65 хувь, байгаль орчны нөлөөллийн нарийвчилсан үнэлгээг хийх ажил 40 хувийн гүйцэтгэлтэй үргэлжилж байна.
“Баруун далай” ордыг түшиглэн хэрэгжүүлж буй уг станц нь жилдээ 1,460-1,890 сая кВт.ц цахилгаан үйлдвэрлэж, төвийн бүсийн нэгдсэн цахилгаан хангамжийг сайжруулах нөхцөлийг бүрдүүлэх юм. Үүний үр дүнд импортоор оруулж буй эрчим хүчний хэмжээ буурч, говийн бүсийн эдийн засаг, хөгжлийг дэмжинэ.
Эрчим хүчний оргил ачааллыг давахад гол үүрэгтэй оролцдог дулааны цахилгаан станцуудын үндсэн тоноглолын ашиглалтын хугацаа дуусаж, үйлдвэрлэлтийн хэмжээ буурах эрсдэлтэй нөхцөл үүсээд буй. Шинээр эрчим хүчний эх үүсвэрүүдийг яаралтай барьж ашиглалтад оруулах, эх үүсгүүрийг төрөлжүүлэх зорилгоор Баруун далай ордыг түшиглэсэн цахилгаан станцын төслийг хэрэгжүүлэхээр төлөвлөөд байна.
